Phlebotomists can draw patients through their ankles with a butterfly stick, as long as it is not a femoral stick (injection of the upper thigh groin area that only a doctor can perform). Please contact us with the location of the Patient Service Center you plan to visit so we can confirm they will conduct an alternate draw.
