Your personal information is kept safe in a HIPAA-compliant, secure database and your privacy is guaranteed throughout the entire process. Please note that if you receive a positive result for an STD (i.e. HIV), we are required by law to inform the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). A representative from the CDC may contact you, but strictly to collect data for case studies. Your name will not be made public and your privacy is still legally protected. LTA is fully compliant with U.S. HIPAA regulations which ensures the privacy of all protected health information.
